PFT3DR Utilities
The following utilities have been useful for people using PFT2/EM3DR2
and PFT/EM3DR or EMPFT or other related packages:
tofrom_star,
two interconversion routines for parameter data (pft_to_star and
crd_to_star)
pft_to_star: Conversion routine for interconverting PFT (or
EMPFT) and EM3DR data and the STAR format used in PFT2 and EM3DR2
crd_to_star: Conversion routine for interconverting .crd data
files (particle extraction) from X3DPREPROCESS (by James Conway) and
the STAR format used in PFT2 and EM3DR2
Installation
from Source Code
1. Download source code: tofromstar_20080424.tgz
(12 kilobytes)
2. Put in a new directory, e.g. /usr/local/pft3dr/utilities
3. Run ./make.tcsh inside the utilities directory to install
programs, binary files will be automatically installed in the
pft3dr/bin directory*
*Note: If you choose to place in a directory other than a
subdirectory of the pft3dr directory (the directory where you placed
the pft3dr code), you will need to edit the make.tcsh file.
Installation
from Binaries
1. Download binary file
tofromstar_20080424_bin_Linux.tgz
tofromstar_20080424_bin_MacPPC.tgz
tofromstar_20080424_bin_MacIntel.tgz
2. Put in pft3dr/bin directory
